Raid Recovery – Failed mirrored set – Help!?

Desktop PC with two 120GB HDD in a mirrored RAID set. There seems had a problem with the RAID set (hard drive failure may be) and it may have been initialized. Were connected to another PC, started XP and was unable to see the contents of HDD's. Suggestions?!
